Heaven or Hell
On that Heritage article in the Times, the good folks at The Corner note,
KIDS TODAY [John J. Miller]
There’s a good article in the NYT today on the 64 paid interns who are working at the Heritage Foundation this summer. They even have a dorm complex for these kids. I wonder if they’ve split into conservative and libertarian factions yet. That’s what always happened when I was in college — the Burke and Kirk club vs. the von Mises and Hayek types. Likely late-night conversation topic: Is President Bush a traitor to conservatism? Playing in the background: the new Coldplay album.

John is right on point - for a moment I thought he was describing Pat (the von Mises-Hayek-Rand type) and I (the Burke-Kirk-Religious Right type) discussing matters in the car on the way down to DC for CPAC. I do recall Coldplay in the background, as well.
I’m such a nerd.

PS - I won’t be purchasing Coldplay’s new album here in Budapest. The only thing getting burn in my CD player (yes, I am old school) these days is John Coltrane.
