Fuengirola is a medium sized holiday resort, where you will find all the attractions of a seaside town. It is an ideal location for a family holiday. Fuengirola is a large, bustling, town with great bars, restaurants, shops and a huge market on Tuesdays. It also has miles of beautiful beaches and a water park for a great day out. Fuengirola is not short of shops. In the town centre, in the Plaza de la Constitucion, there are many small boutiques and designer clothes shops.

Fuengirola is actually an excellent budget resort base from which to push out into Andalucia either by Costa Del Sol car hire or by public transport. Renfe trains run direct on the C1 line to Malaga then on up the C2 line to Cordoba. Fuengirola is probably most famous for its five miles of sandy beaches, with high-rise hotels and apartments offering magnificent views of the Mediterranean and the coastline. With a new wider promenade with plenty of palm trees interspersed with colourful flower bed's and bench seating, Fuengirola sea front is a favorite place for tourists and local families alike. Fuengirola is probably not what we would describe as an ideal place for a holiday home, yet it has all the facilities and amenities one could ask for. There is a train line connecting Fuengirola to Malaga and the airport and the new motorway and improved main road has taken the worst of the traffic out of Fuengirola.

Fuengirola is a genuine Spanish working town, as well as being one of the Costa del Sol’s foremost holiday resorts. The result is a dynamic centre of business and commerce, combined with 7kms of sandy beach, superb restaurants and nightlife, and plenty of family-geared entertainment. Fuengirola is 20 minutes by taxi from Malaga airport, and taxis are available 24 hours a day. Fares are usually ?25?30 (depending on time & season). Fuengirola is one of the most important tourist towns on the eastern Costa de Sol with a municipal area extending almost eleven square kilometres along the coast between Benalm?dena and Mijas. The northeast boundary is formed by the Arroyo del Jard?n stream and to the south east is the mouth of the Fuengirola River.

Fuengirola is a large town and municipality on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain in the province of M?ga and the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is a major tourist resort on the Costa del Sol, with more than 8 km of beaches, and home to a medieval Moorish fortress. Fuengirola is a city but chances are you will only visit the centre and beach front so you can walk everywhere. The light train is excallant for getting up the coast as is the bus service. Fuengirola is just twenty minutes away from Malaga airport situated in the famous holiday destination of Costa Del Sol in Spain. A well-developed resort, Fuengirola is home to Costa Del Sol's longest stretch of beach, seven kilometres of sand, flanked by a palm tree lined promenade.

There is a huge range of restaurants with set menus from 5 ? per head right up to select gastronomy for that special celebration. The beaches in Fuengirola are well kept, clean and silhouetted by an infinite variety of vivacious bars and restaurants. Fuengirola is known as a beach resort on Spain’s Costa del Sol . It has a magnificent stretch of beaches, with 5km of promenade stretching along the sweeping coastline.
